A while ago, I did a few desert themed spitpaints. Here they are. At this time, I discovered the ability to soften edges when using the lasso tool.

Christmas Card

For one of my final exams, we have to make a Christmas card. So I decided to make a card with an illustration that has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. I'm thinking of changing the dimensions of the card because that tangency between the edge of the house and the gutter is bothering me.

thanks to the Daily Spitpaint group on fb, I've been drawing a lot of things that are way out of my comfort zone. It's quite challenging I tell ya. On the bright side, If I keep doing this for at least a couple years, who knows what'll happen?

Isolated Palace WIP

Here are different concepts WIPs for a palace that is meant to be isolated from the city. I'm showing these to my teacher tomorrow. The plan is to get him to act like an art director and choose one for me to continue pushing.

robot lamp

the shading, especially on the platform on which the lamp is standing on is inaccurate, but I really don't care. It's only a sketch.

Spiderman (thanksgiving sketching series)

Spiderman has always been my favorite marvel character to draw, and this is one of the many sketches of him. I started this sketch in my morning class, then kept working on it in between classes throughout the day. with sketches like these, I usually don't use photo reference. I was greatly inspired by comic book artist Gabriele Dell'Otto's pencil sketches while I was doing this. Some of Dell'Otto's artwork can be found here. look him up...his stuff is great.
