Residential Mountains

This is a concept for a planet where the intelligent lfe forms live mainly in mountainous areas. The people in the planet can jump really high distances, so they keep their doors highly elevated from the ground to keep other animals from getting into the house. The roofs of the houses are able to open up in order for the residents to fly away in their mini-ships.

Little house in forest 2 (3hrs)

This quick painting is a sequel to a previous painting of mine titled "Little House In the Forest". Although both paintings possess the same degree of completion, the second painting took me 3 hours to create, but the previous one took me over 6 hours. This means I'm getting faster. Now, I need to keep practicing.

Greenery

It's been a long damn time since I did a concept sketch, so it was fun working on this. I started this while I was in class (don't worry, I listen better when I'm sketching), then brought it to a more complete point back at my dorm.

interior value study

This is the value study of a watercolor painting titled Inside the Castle. This piece depicts a boy who goes by the name "Smarter than a King". He lives in a land where the king has used his power forbid anyone in his kingdom from giving birth to a male child. Despite this rule, "Smarter than a King" happens to survive, and he ends up meeting the king. This illustration illustrates the moment when "Smarter than a King" meets the King for the first time.

Futuristic Cityscape (line drawing)

This is the original line drawing of the illustration titled Futuristic Cityscape (I will come up with a better title later). The idea was to create a watercolor/prismacolor color pencil painting which illustrates a futuristic cityscape where the main source of transportation is teleportation at different wavelengths of light. In this city, people don't need cars, planes, trains, or ships for transportation for everything travels at the speed of light. The final version of this illustration can be found here.
